Day 1: Bishkek - Suusamyr valley - Kyzyl Oi
Itinerary
Leaving Bishkek you will cross the stunning Too Ashuu Pass and enter the snow filled Suusamyr valley. Once you get to the bottom of the pass, you turn left and head out across the valley. Soon the road turns to gravel (not that you could tell through the hard packed snow) and you begin to go village to village. See local villagers riding horses and homemade sleighs in this winter wonderland. If you are really lucky, you might even see a pickup game of Ulak Tartysh (Dead Goat Polo) even though the temperatures are ridiculously low!

Spend the night in the stunning, isolated village of Kyzyl Oi. Set off by a red rock gorge on either side, there are few places that feel as peaceful as Kyzyl Oi. The guesthouse will get your room warmed up, you won’t freeze!
