Day 3: Van city tour
Itinerary
Van is a city in eastern Turkey's Van Province and is located on the eastern shore of Lake Van. Sail to the island Akhtamar and visit the Armenian Cathedral. Your trip continues up to the monastery Varagavank (monastery of Varag), also known as seven churches. Varagavank was a prominent Armenian monastery whose ruins are located on the slopes of Mount Varag. Overnight stay in Van.

Day 4: Van - Doğubayazıt - Ani - Kars
Itinerary
After breakfast you will visit Doğubayazıt. This is a settlement rich in history. The trip continues to Ani. Ani is a medieval Armenian city situated in the Turkish province of Kars that now lies in ruins. All the structures in Ani were constructed using local volcanic basalt, a sort of tufa stone. It is easily carved and comes in a variety of vibrant colors from creamy yellow to rose-red to jet black. Drive to Kars. Overnight stay in Kars.

Day 5: Kars - Khoy
Itinerary
After breakfast transfer to the border between Turkey and Iran. Get dropped off at the Dogubayazit Gurbulak border crossing. End of services in Turkey. Meet your guide at the Turkey- Iran border and transfer to Khoy, visiting the St. Thaddeus Monastery en route. Transfer to a hotel. Check in and relax. Overnight stay in Khoy.

Day 6: Khoy - Orumieh
Itinerary
Visit the stone gate of Khoy, the Shams Tabrizi Monument, and the Old Bazaar. Then transfer to Orumieh. Arrive at the hotel, check in, and relax. Next go on a tour of Orumieh City, visiting the Seh Gonbad building, Friday mosque, and the Nane Maryam Church. Overnight stay in Orumieh.

Day 7: Orumieh - Tabriz
Itinerary
Transfer to Tabriz. On the way, visit the stone village of Kandovan. Arrive at your hotel, check in, and freshen up. Next visit El Goli Park, Alishah Citadel, the Municipality building, Blue Mosque, the bazaar, and Azerbaijan Museum. Overnight stay in Tabriz.

Day 8: Tabriz – Jolfa - Khndzoresk - Goris
Itinerary
Transfer to Jolfa to visit the St. Stephanus Cathedral. Drive along the Aras River to the Nordooz border crossing. Meet your Armenian guide at the border and drive to Goris. On your way to Goris, visit the cave village of Khndzoresk, a picturesque valley with a stream running through it, where the caves and rock formations will take your breath away. Overnight stay in Goris.

Day 9: Goris - Tatev - Noravank – Areni - Yerevan
Itinerary
Tour the most magnificent monastery in all of Armenia, Tatev Monastery (9-13th century), a former center for the sciences and art where many famous Armenians lived and worked centuries ago. Explore the Noravank Monastery, a great religious and cultural center of the 12th century. On the way visit the Areni Wine Factory where you can sample some local wines. Drive to Yerevan. Overnight stay in Yerevan.

Day 10: Yerevan City tour – Garni – Geghard - Yerevan
Itinerary
Explore the city of Yerevan. Visit the Manuscript Museum, Matenadaran then continue to the Genocide Museum, the Tsitsernakaberd Monument, and a brandy factory. Eat lunch at a local residence where you will have opportunity to see and participate in the making of lavash, a traditional Armenian bread. Next visit the Pagan Temple of Garni, the only non-Christian temple currently left in Armenia, and the cave monastery in Geghard. The Geghard Monastery is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Lastly, visit the Megerian Carpet Factory. Overnight stay in Yerevan.

Day 11: Yerevan – Sanahin – Haghpat – Sadakhlo – Tbilisi
Itinerary
Today you will visit two unique monuments of Armenian architecture from the 10-14th centuries: the monasteries of Sanahin and Haghpat (UNESCO World Heritage Sites). These two monasteries are very close to each other. Afterwards, drive to the border between Armenia and Georgia. Meet up with your new guide and transportation and continue the tour in Georgia. Drive to Tbilisi. Check in at a hotel. Overnight stay in Tbilisi.

Day 12: Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Gori - Uplistsikhe - Borjomi - Akhaltsikhe
Itinerary
After breakfast, transfer to Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia, to view 2 UNESCO sites: the Jvari Monastery (6th century) and the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century). Next stop in Gori, a small city that houses Stalin's house, now a museum, and explore the Uplistsikhe caves (1st mill BC). Drive to the city of Borjomi, where you will visit the National Park and can taste the famous mineral spring water, Borjomi. Overnight stay in Akhaltsikhe.

Day 13: Akhaltsikhe - Vardzia - Tsalka Lakes - Tbilisi
Itinerary
Breakfast at the hotel. Next, go out and visit the Rabati Fortress, Museum and old citadel. Stop at Khertvisi (Castle) for pictures. Continue on to the 12th century cave city of Vardzia that is carved into volcanic rock on 13 levels, is linked by internal corridors, has secret tunnels, and painted chapels. Next visit another medieval fortresses by the Kura riverside. Drive to Tbilisi, passing by several beautiful lakes: Sagamo, Paravani and Tsalka. Stop to take photos. Overnight stay in Tbilisi.

Day 14: Tbilisi city tour
Itinerary
Spend the whole day exploring Tbilisi. Visit all the main attractions of the city: the Holy Trinity Cathedral (Sameba) built in the 21st century (the main Christian Orthodox cathedral in Georgia), the Metekhi Church (13th century) located by the banks of the Mtkvari River, and the Narikala Fortress (via aerial cable car). The Narikala Fortress dates back to the 4th century AD. It offers magnificent panoramic views of Tbilisi. Afterwards, stroll down to Legvtakhevi (translated literally as Fig Ravine), a beautiful destination the houses a waterfall, blooming plants, and a small river. Take a walk in the park near the Sulfur bath houses, well-known for their healing properties. Roam around Shardeni Street and its neighborhood and Meidan Square with its outdoor cafes, galleries, and souvenir shops. Cross the Bridge of Peace, a modern glass bridge. Enjoy some time exploring Rustaveli Avenue where you can buy the souvenirs and handcrafts. Farewel dinner at a traditional restaurant in Tbilisi that serves national dishes and offers a Georgian Folk Show. Overnight stay in Tbilisi.
