Travel to Baga Gazriin Chuluu
Itinerary
Travel to Baga Gazriin Chuluu for 5-6hours about 240kms, is a picturesque mountain at an elevation of 1,751 meters in the Granite Belt of Mongolia. On the way we will see Zorgol Khairkhan Mountain, giant rocky granite mountain as sacred by local nomads. Stay overnight in Ger camp.

Travel to Tsagaan Suvarga
Itinerary
Continue travel to Tsagaan Suvarga about 240kms for 5-6hours. This stunning area is 30 meters high white limestone formation and created over thousands of years by natural wind. Stay overnight in Ger camp.

Travel to Yol valley and trekking
Itinerary
Morning we will drive to Yol valley (Lammergeier’s Gorge) about 220kms. This picturesque place is nestled between the beautiful peaks of the Gurvan Saikhan Mountain and shelters rich wildlife. Visit Gobi museum and trekking through the valley. Stay overnight in Ger camp.

Travel to Khongor Sand Dune
Itinerary
Travel to Khongor sand dunes for 180kms. Known as Singing sand dunes, the Khongor dunes are up to 300ms high, 15kms wide, and 180kms long. Afternoon we will walk through the Golden sand dunes. The view is incredible from top of the dunes. Stay overnight in Ger camp.

Visit to nomad family and camel riding
Itinerary
Today we will visit a nomad family and have a chance to see nomadic life in the Gobi. You can taste traditional dairy products as made of camel cows’ milk. Optional camel riding is available. Move back to Ger camp. Stay overnight in Ger camp.

Travel to Bayanzag
Itinerary
Continue travel to Bayanzag for 170kms. Here you will see saksaul forest in the Gobi desert and red flaming cliffs, which formed by the erosion of the sand and rock over many thousands of years. This is the place where dinosaurs were lived 70 million years ago, and is internationally famous for its dinosaur remains of complete skeletons, eggs and hatchlings of the Cretaceous Period. Stay overnight in Ger camp.

Travel to temple ruin of Ongi and trekking
Itinerary
Travel to Ongi temple ruin for 140km. Walking along the area where the ruins are situated. Stay overnight in Ger camp.

Drive from desert to steppe
Itinerary
Drive to Orkhon valley for 5-6hours about 240kms. Today we will leave Gobi already and be entered to mountain and steppe zone. Stay overnight in Ger camp.

Travel to Kharakhorum
Itinerary
Travel for 100kms to Kharakhorum. Kharakhorum is the ancient capital of Mongolia where Chinggis Khan established his headquarters in 1220. In 1235, his son and successor, Ogodei built a palace enclosed by walls. You will visit newly built Kharakhorum Museum and Erdenezuu monastery, the largest and first Mongolian Buddhist temple complex built on the remains of 16thcentury Kharakhorum city. Then we will visit a local cooperative to attend a workshop for making felt items by hand. Stay overnight in Ger camp.

Travel to a nomad community
Itinerary
Travel to Gurvanbulag soum (a local administration unit) in Bulgan province around 100km. We will reach to the nomads. Visit the nomad family, will welcome you with their unique traditional hospitality. They offer unconventional home-made special dairy products, such as “aaruul”- dried curds, Mongolian salty milk tea – Suutei tsai and so on. You can interact with nomad people and get more intimate with their nature hugging lifestyle. In the evening, you will be filled with a lesson on “Shagai”, traditional game. You will play Shagai with the family members. Stay overnight in community based Ger camp.

Horse based nomad culture
Itinerary
Today we will watch how Mongolian skillful cowboys catch horses by “uurga” – traditional wooden lasso and training an untamed horse that has never been ridden before. You will learn more in deep about traditional technology how to make halter and hobble by leather. Enjoy horseback riding for an hour. For dinner you will enjoy Khorkhog, is real Mongolian barbeque, grilled with hot stones. Stay overnight in community based Ger camp.

Khustai National park
Itinerary
Travel to Khustai National Park for 200kms. On the way we will visit to Khar Bukhiin Balgas, an interesting remain of ancient town of nomad tribes dated back to 10th century. Then continue drive to Khustai National Park, is encompassing an area of 50.620hectare is the habitat of resurrected wild Mongolian horses, popularly known as Takhi (Przewalski’s Horse). Explore the park to see the Takhi horses in the wilderness. Stay overnight in Ger camp.

Travel back to Ulaanbaatar
Itinerary
Today you will travel for 100kms to Ulaanbaatar. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to your hotel. Guided shopping for cashmere and souvenirs. Enjoy the farewell dinner. Stay overnight in hotel.
