Welcoming day
Itinerary
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar the capital city of Mongolia. Transfer to your hotel. After the refreshment break, we will start our tour to visit Chinggis Khaan Square and Zaisan memorial on the Bogd Khan Mountain that provides a 360° panoramic view over the city. Visit the Bogd Khan Winter Palace Museum. Later, enjoy the traditional art performance and Welcome dinner. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Travel to Khustai National Park
Itinerary
Morning we will visit Gandantegchinlen Monastery, the center of Mongolian Buddhists. Built in 1810, partly destroyed during the communist purges and reconstructed in 1990. It contains one of the biggest standing Buddhas in Asia (26m high). Continue on travel to Khustai National Park for 100kms. Khustai National Park encompassing an area of 50.620hectare is the habitat of resurrected wild Mongolian horses, popularly known as Takhi (Przewalski’s Horse). Explore the park to see wild horses and other wildlife of the area. Stay overnight in tent.

Travel to Nomad community
Itinerary
Travel to Gurvanbulag soum (a local administration unit) in Bulgan province for 200kms in 4-5 hours. On the way we will visit to Khar Bukhiin Balgas, an interesting remain of ancient castle of nomad tribes dated back to 10th century. Afternoon, we will visit the nomad family who welcome us with their unique traditional hospitality. They offer unconventional home-made special dairy products, such as “aaruul”-dried curds, Mongolian salty milk tea-Suutei tsai and so on. You can interact with nomad people and get more intimate with their nature hugging lifestyle. Stay overnight in community based Ger camp.

Travel to Kharakhorum
Itinerary
Today we will travel for 70kms to a famous cultural and historical site where many statues of ancient Tureg Empire as dated back to 6th-8th centuries are discovered. We will visit the museum and then continue our travel to Kharakhorum, the city was founded in 1220 by an adoption of Chinggis Khaan and destroyed in 14th century. Later it rebuilt as a first Buddhist monastery in Mongolia. We will visit the Buddhist temple complex of Erdene Zuu and Historical museum. Stay overnight in Ger camp.

Travel to Taats River
Itinerary
Travel to Taats River about 7-8 hours for 280kms. On the way we will cross Arvaikheer town, the center of Uvurkhangai province. Stay overnight in tent.

Travel to Bayantsagaan
Itinerary
Continue on travel about 4-5 hours for 190kms. On the way we will take a scenic view of Ikh Bogd mountain, is part of Altai Mountain Range. Short hiking. Stay overnight in tent.

Travel to Zarman Gobi
Itinerary
Travel to Zakhui and Zarman Gobi for 170kms, two of the famous 33 Gobi areas in Mongolia. On the way we will enjoy a stunning rocky mountain Suman Khad. Afternoon we will reach a beautiful oasis covered with Saxaul forest and Gobi type plants. Exploring the area. Stay overnight in tent.

Travel to Eej Khairkhan Holy Mountain
Itinerary
Travel to Eej (Mother) Khairkhan Mountain for 130kms. On the way we will explore at Bayan Tooroi, an oasis in the Gobi, where the Tooroi trees (variety of poplar) with different shapes of leaves are grown by local people. Then continue drive to Eej Khairkhan. This Holy Mountain is sacred by Mongolians and state protected Monumental area due to its interesting formations and shapes of rocks, particularly nine rock Bowls at different heights, which pours water from a bowl to the next bowl at lower height. A masterpiece of the nature of the Mongolian Gobi is this fountain! Exploring around the area. Stay overnight in tent.

Travel to Altai Mountains
Itinerary
Today we will head to Khar Azargiin Nuruu for 120kms, a part of the Altai Mountain Range. Enjoy hiking around the mountain. Rest time. Stay overnight in tent.

Travel to Shargiin Gobi
Itinerary
Travel to Shargiin Gobi for 130kms. The Shargiin Gobi is one of the 33 Gobi areas of Mongolia. This is area is belong to Natural Reservation - Sharga Mankhanii Tal which established in 1993 in order to conserve Bukhun - Mongolian Saiga antelope that listed in the International Red Book. Continue on trip to Nomad community where we will join a Camel caravan along the ancient Silk Road in next days. Stay overnight in tent nearby nomads.

Experiencing Camel caravan
Itinerary
These days we will travel with the Camel caravan. All equipments and our luggage will be packed on the camels and travel through the Silk Road across the Gobi to Altai town, the provincial center. Along the way, we will pass beautiful sand dunes and a Lake Tsagaan, as well as we have many chances to encounter camel herders, local nomads and wildlife. You will enjoy camel back riding for whole caravan journey. Stay overnights in tent.
