Genghis Statue and 13th Century Park
Itinerary

Our driver will pick you up at your hotel at an arranged time. We will travel about 1½ hours to the great statue of Genghis Khan, and this is where the fun begins. This statue is not only the largest statue of Genghis Khan in Mongolia but in the entire world. Its height is 40 meters (130 feet). From the visitor’s center, the top of the statue is accessible by elevator. Here we learn how and why Mongolians conquered the World in 13th century. This vantage point provides great photo opportunities.

Next, we will go to 13th Century National Park. Getting to know and experience the Mongolian way of life, customs, traditions, and military activities of the 13th Century in its genuine environment is far better than watching it on TV, at a movie, theater or reading about it in books. Many people wish to escape today’s urban life, metropolitan hectic schedules, noisy and polluted cities to a fresh and peaceful environment; “13th Century National Park” aims to provide you with these opportunities by welcoming you to its micro (macro) kingdom. You will be amazed as you watch and experience the 13th Century’s Mongolian lifestyle. The six (6) different camp areas offer insights on early Mongolian state affairs, livestock breeding, traditions, customs, garments, etc. Lunch will be served in the 13th Century National Park as Mongolian Traditional cuisine. Then we will drive to the Terelj National Park.
