Arrival in Baku. Private transfer will be arranged to your hotel. Check-in at 14:00.

At 18:30, meet your guide and the group members at the hotel lobby. Enjoy welcome dinner at national restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

2
Baku city tour – Gobustan – Baku
Itinerary
Breakfast. At 09:00, start a guided sightseeing tour of Baku. Walk along Martyrs Lane, known as Shehidler Khiyabany among locals, and find a beautiful view overlooking Baku coastline. Move to Icheri Sheher, the old part of the city. Visit the Shirvanshahs Palace, Caravanserai, Maiden Tower, and main market square, which has numerous art studios and souvenir stalls. Finish the sightseeing tour by exploring Nizami Street and Fountain Square. After lunch, drive to Gobustan to visit the Petroglyphs Museum and explore petroglyphs dating back to 10000 BC. The Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Weather permitting, switch to a 4x4 vehicle and continue to the mud volcanoes. Gobustan is home to almost half of the worlds mud volcanoes. Return to Baku for overnight at the hotel.

Baku – Ateshgah – Baku
Itinerary
After breakfast, drive to the Absheron Peninsula to visit Ateshgah, located in the village of Surakhany. Zoroastrians from India used to travel thousands of kilometres to Ateshgah to worship the fire coming out of the earth. Return to Baku to visit the iconic Heydar Alyev Cultural Centre, which is located in a quirky building designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid. Free time in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

Baku – Shamakhi – Lahich – Sheki
Itinerary
At 08:30, depart Baku and drive Sheki. On the way, stop at Diri Baba mausoleum in Maraza village. Continue to Shamakhi and have a sightseeing of historical Juma Mosque. If the weather allows, drive through Girdimanchay River canyon to visit Lahich, the 5th century quaint corner high in Caucasus mountains rich in its historic and architectural values. Lahich is an ancient village with charming cobbled sidewalks. It is famous for medieval water supply and sewage systems, as well as, traditional jewelry, copperware, carpets, pottery, daggers, and iron tools workshops. Continue driving to Sheki. Arrival in Sheki at 18:00-19:00 for overnight at the hotel.

Sheki - Baku
Itinerary
At 08:30, we start our day visiting colorful Sheki bazaar. You can find virtually everything you may want to taste: local fruits and berries, spices, freshly baked bread, honey, cheese, and Sheki sweets. Continue to Sheki Khans Palace surrounded by medieval fortress walls. Visit handicrafts workshop and caravanserai. You will say goodbye to your guide and group which continues to Georgia here.
In the afternoon, you will meet your new driver to transfer you to Baku (without guide, 300 km, ~5 hours). Arrive in Baku, check-in to hotel for overnight.

Baku – departure
Itinerary
Check-out from the hotel till noon. Free time till transfer to Baku International Airport. End of the tour.
