Day 1: Bishkek – Chichkan
Itinerary
Our guide will meet you at Manas Airport then we’ll start making our way to the south of Kyrgyzstan to the Chichkan Gorge, crossing high mountain passes along the way. One pass we’ll cross in particular, the Too Ashuu Pass (3,000 m) provides a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and the route we'll be taking is considered one of Kyrgyzstan’s most beautiful. Dinner and overnight accommodations at a hotel.

2
Day 2: Chichkan – Arslanbob
Itinerary
After breakfast we’ll visit the Arslanbob walnut forests (1,600 m), the largest naturally growing walnut forests in the world. This area is popular for its quality health resorts. We’ll enjoy some national cuisine in the village of Tash Kumyr for lunch. Dinner and overnight accommodations at a guest house in Arslanbob.

3
Day 3: Arslanbob – Kazarman
Itinerary
Begin our journey to the village of Kazarman. On the way to Kazarman, we’ll visit the city of Jalal-Abad. Jalal-Abad, located in the northeastern portion of the Ferghana Valley, is the fulcrum of activity in the Jalal-Abad Province and is home to roughly 89,000 people. Here we’ll visit the Uzgen Tower built in the 11th century and a mausoleum. Afterwards we’ll continue our journey to Kazarman. Since Kyrgyzstan is over 90% mountains, is contains many remote pockets of land, some of which are tread by nomads, some inhabited by small villages, and some house nothing except expanses of wilderness. Kazarman is one of these remote villages. The road to Kazarman will take us through commanding mountains and impressive gorges. We’ll also see nomads that live and herd in this area. Dinner and overnight accommodations at a guest house in the village of Kazarman.

4
Day 4: Kazarman – Tash Rabat
Itinerary
After breakfast we’ll drive to Tash Rabat, a historic monument founded in the 10th century by monks, but later converted into a caravanserai for travelers along the Silk Road. The journey there will take us over several mountain passes. We’ll stop for a picnic lunch along the way. Arrive at Tash Rabat and explore the area. Dinner and overnight accommodations at a yurt camp. Russian baths are available upon request.

5
Day 5: Tash Rabat – Lake Song Kul
Itinerary
In the morning we’ll drive to Lake Song Kul, a beautiful alpine lake perched at the top of a mountain pass. The road to the lake is gorgeous! Stop for a picnic lunch next to a river on the way. Arrive at the lake by evening and enjoy a demonstration of the national equestrian games as well as dinner. Overnight accommodations at a yurt camp next to the lake’s edge.

6
Day 6: Lake Song Kul – Kochkor – Kemin
Itinerary
Drive to the village of Kemin. On the way to Kemin we’ll stop by Kochkor to visit a handcrafts museum and see a demonstration of Kyrgyz carpet weaving. You can even participate and make one of your own if you’d like. Dinner and overnight accommodations at the Ashu Guest House in Kemin.

Day 6: Kemin – Bishkek
Itinerary
Begin our journey back to Bishkek, but with a few leisurely stops. Visit a Silk Road monument, Burana Tower, and its surrounding field of stone statues. Extreme sport lovers can take advantage of some river rafting on the way back as well. Arrive in Bishkek and enjoy a farewell dinner. Overnight accommodations at a hotel.
