Amir Temur Square

Amir Temur Square is considered as a very center of the city and here stands an impressive statue of the great ancestor - Amir Timur, a prominent politician and leader of Middle Ages, who had founded a huge unified empire that stretched from the Caucasus to China and from Siberia to India, which had lasted 200 years in XIV- XV centuries. Majestic posture of the rider and his hand is stretched out symbolizes protection, promise of peace and prosperity. Inscription on the pedestal in four languages, says: "The strength is in justice."

Amir Temur square has a radial-ring system layout: 8 alleys of the park start from the Temur Statue and proceed to 8 streets of the town, heading to the parts of the world and intersecting with annular streets.
