The lake is thought to have been created by the shocks of an earthquake thousands of years ago that altered the face of the mountains. In the center of Lake Kel Suu there’s a seemingly random island of pure stone that you can reach via boat.
Lake Kel Suu is roughly 9 km long and 0.5-2 km wide. Boating is highly recommended at this alpine lake to fully explore its caves and crevasses.
