Kegety Falls is a 20 meter waterfall located 2,000 meters asl that hurls itself from a steep cliff at the entrance of the Kegety Gorge. The falls are particularly beautiful in the winter when the mountains around it are covered in ice and snow, showcasing the rushing water as everything else seems frozen in time.

Inside the gorge there is an alpine lake that’s also popular with travelers. The Kegety Gorge is located 85 kilometers outside of Bishkek. The entrance to Kegety Gorge is located just 100 meters from the nearby road.

Not far from the gorge and falls is Burana Tower, an ancient Silk Road minaret that is a popular destination with travelers and locals alike.
