Adjara, Georgia

Adjara is region is one of the most picturesque and beautiful places in Georgia. Adjara is an autonomous republic in the south-west of Georgia, at the foot of Lesser Caucasus ridge. It has its own flag, crest, and includes territories of ancient Adjara and Kingdom of Lazica. The autonomous republic includes 6 administrative units: Batumi, Keda, Kobuleti, Khelvachauri, Shuakhevi, Khulo.

The capital of Adjara is Batumi the second largest city in Georgia. This region is known for unique combination of natural factors that make this place a true fairytale. Adjara drowns in greenery all year around and is surrounded by the Black Sea. This wonderful area has beaches, mountain ranges, remoted lakes, forests, amazing waterfalls, ravines, and many other wonders of nature.

Adjara region is known for plenty of resorts that make it one of the most popular vacation destinations. Apart from comfortable conditions for vacation, tourists can immerse in extraordinary culture of Adjara region; it incorporates western and eastern cultures, offers delicious cuisine, and displays traditional lifestyle of locals.
