Ulaanbaatar – Black Heart’s Blue Lake (215 km)
Itinerary
In the morning, our driver and tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive to the east from Ulaanbaatar. We will stop by the Tsenkhermandal area for lunch break. This is the rest area of the country road. Once we arrive at the Blue Lake, we will hike around. There are totem pole memorials represents Genghis Khan and next 32 Khans.

2
Black Heart’s Blue Lake - Binder (235 km)
Itinerary
After breakfast we will drive to Binder soum. On the way to Binder we will visit Bereeven monastery. The monastery was built in the 1700s with over 20 temples made of granite stone. At its peak use it was one of the largest monasteries and Buddhist centers in Mongolia with up to 7000 monks living there. All of the monastery buildings were destroyed by the communist in 1937. Now restoration work of the monastery is under way and some temples, numerous carved Buddhas on the steep rock and other truly interesting Buddhist sites are available to see and enjoy visiting. Some ancient Deer Stone Monuments are not far from the monastery. Also we drive through Uglugch Wall. It was built very carefully and extends into higher places of the area as a fortress in the period of the Kidan State. The wall is made of red granite stone and has height and width of 2 meters and length of over 1 km. No clay was used to build the wall. We will have picnic lunch on the road.

3
Binder – Dadal (115 km)
Itinerary
After breakfast we will drive to Dadal and arrive in Ger-Camp. In the afternoon we will visit local nomadic family and learn from their lifestyle while watching and participating to milk a cow, make traditional food and home style diary product processing. Also we will be introduced to local people’s handcrafts or pick up some wild onion. Afternoon we will ride a horse for an hour or longer around the Three Lake area. Dinner will be served in Ger-Camp and retire.

4
Historical sites and fishing
Itinerary
Today will visit historical sites including Genghis Khan Monument, which is built for the birthplace of the great Khan and his development of Great Mongolian Empire. Then we will visit to the Onon River and Balj River confluence, where Temujin (Genghis Khan’s name) was born and grow up.

In the evening we will have fishing at the Onon and Balj River. Lunch and dinner will be served as a picnic.

Dadal – Genghis City (240 km)
Itinerary
Breakfast. We will drive to Genghis Khan City and visit the local museum. On the way to Genghis Khan City we will have short break to visit the famous herdsman’s home. Who is titled “Thousand Sheep raiser” and awarded by local government. The old man and his family are raised horse, sheep, goad and cow for centuries by generation to generation and love to share their wisdom and history with us. Our Ger-camp will be located in the wide and boundless steppe.

6
Genghis Khan City - Ulaanbaatar (330 km)
Itinerary
After breakfast we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar. On the way, we will drop by Genghis Khan Statue and have lunch. This statue is not only the largest statue of Genghis Khan in Mongolia but in the entire world! Its height is 40 meters (130 feet). From the visitor’s center, the top of the statue is accessible by elevator. This vantage point provides great photo opportunities. Afterwards we will drive farther to the city and arrive at the hotel.
