Day 1: Airport – Bishkek

Arrival at Manas airport where you will be met by your guide/interpreter and transfer to Umai hotel. After lunch preparation of bicycles followed by some sightseeing around Bishkek. Accommodation in the hotel

Day 2: Bishkek - Suusamyr valley - small local village
Itinerary
By car until after the tunnel through the Too Ashuu Pass 125km from Bishkek – the tunnel is at 3,100m and is 2.5km long. Then cycling down to the village of Suusamyr (2,100m) 16km of asphalt until the junction with the road to Osh and then dirt road to the village. Stay with local family.

Day 3: Suusamyr - Chaek
Itinerary
Cycling from Suusamyr to Chaek, the district town of this area, 82 km partly along the Kökömeren river. Dirt road. Stay in B&B.

Day 4: Chaek - Kyzart pass - Kochkor
Itinerary
Cycling until Kyzart pass (2,664m). The road is very spectacular. You can admire wonderful mountain landscapes and explore local flora and fauna (47km). Then by car to Kochkor – if wanted a longer distance can be cycled. Stay in B&B.

Day 5: Kochkor - Balykchy
Itinerary
Cycling along the Orto-Tokoy water reserve to Issyk-Kul Lake and along the west side of the lake to Balykchy. Here your cycling will end. 70km over flat asphalt road. Stay with local family.

Day 6: Balykchy - Yurt Camp Altyn-Bulak
Itinerary
By car from Balykchy to the yurt camp Altyn-Bulak on the south side of Issyk-Kul Lake. This yurt camp is located in a semi-desert area not far from the shore of the lake. In the afternoon swimming and/or a visit to Manjyly-Ata a traditional sacred place of the Kyrgyz not far from the yurt camp. Stay in yurt.

Day 7: Yurt Camp Altyn-Bulak - Yurt Camp Boz-Salkyn
Itinerary
By car to the yurt camp Boz-Salkyn in the jailoo (summer pastures) at 2,500m. This is a short ride, so then time for hiking in the surrounding mountains. Stay in yurt.

Day 8: Yurt Camp Boz-Salkyn - Bokonbaevo - Yurt Camp Temir-Kanat
Itinerary
By car to Bokonbaevo first to visit a man who hunts with golden eagles and then on horseback to the yurt camp Temir-Kanat (about 20km). Temir-Kanat yurt camp is located on a plateau above the village of the same name. From here you have a beautiful view of the lake and, on the far side of the lake, the mountains beyond that border with Kazakhstan. Stay in yurt.

Horse riding in the mountains around Temir-Kanat. Stay in yurt.

Itinerary
On horsebacking along a mountain ridge to the small village of Koltor. Stay with local family (about 35km).

Day 11: Koltor village - Kongur-Olung valley - Ala Bash Pass - Yurt Camp Tuura-Suu
Itinerary
On horseback through the Kongur-Olung Valley and over the Ala Bash Pass (2,360 m) to the yurt camp Tuura-Suu at 2,200m. Stay in yurt camp.

Day 12: Yurt Camp Tuura-Suu - Boom Gorge - Bishkek
Itinerary
From Tuura-Suu to the Boom Gorge. Here you can raft for a few hours on the Chuj or Kemin river. Then on to Bishkek, stay in Umai Hotel.

Day 13: Bishkek - Pigeon waterfalls - Bishkek
Itinerary
Half day trip to the Pigeon waterfalls, outside Bishkek. The path to the waterfall takes only 1 hour. Afternoon time for shopping in Bishkek. Stay in Umai Hotel.
