There are peak Semenov 5816m and peak Karakol 5280m at the upper part of Sary-Jaz valley. We will visit cave “Ak-Chunkur” (white hole) which is on the height of 3150 7 km away to the east from Echkili-Tash. The length of this cave is 70m, the height 10m. The traces of an ancient man and cave paintings were discovered in this cave. In this mountainous kingdom, many animals inhabit such as: argali, ibex and others. In Echkili-Tash you can see many snow peaks. You can see summit of famous Khan-Tengri peak (7010m) in clear weather. After lunch moving to Karkyra through Turuk pass. This place well known for its green diversity.
We will visit Tamerlane’s stones at Karkyra valley. There are many beekeepers in summer time. Not far from Santash village there are kurgans and remains of the Caravanserais, where the Tamerlane’s troop used to pass. The legend has it that the army of Tamerlane composed them. When the commander went on his campaign, he ordered each soldier to take a stone with them, and here, at the pass, they all laid these stones into a large mound. Upon return, soldiers who survived took a stone each from the mound and placed it by their side. Therefore, there are now two mounds made of stone, one of which became a monument of the victims who died on a foreign land. Arrival to Karakol via Basharin valley. Amongst the weird rock formations there is a ridge which resembles two walls of fortification, something like the Great Wall of China, rising vertically out of the surrounding sandstone. The rocks vary in colour from a sandy yellow to red and orange, and there are also colorful striations visible in places which show the different chemical composition of the rocks.
After we will visit the beach of the Issyk-Kul. After beach we continue our trip to Kara-Koo village, we will visit felt factory, where the process of production of felt product, especially Kyrgyz carpets ( shyrdak) and yurts will be shown and explained. There are no facilities on the lake, such as electricity and so on, but local herders will provide supplies and rent yurts. The area is inhabited and safely accessible only from June to September. There are a lot of horses and other animals and people live only in yurts. Here you will feel the real nomad spirit. The mean temperature in the lake basin is −3.5 °C (25.7 °F) with mean temperature of −20 °C (−4 °F) in January, and 11 °C (52 °F) in July.
