Main traffic rules. Georgia has a right-hand driving regime. The speed limits in Georgia: highway – 110 km/h, city, village – 60 km/h, outside the city – 90 km\h. Almost everywhere there are automatic video cameras registering traffic speed violations. There is no traffic police in Georgia, however there are police patrols, which can stop any car to check the driver’s sobriety.

The driver can be fined for the following traffic violations in Georgia: the presence of alcohol in the blood of the driver, not wearing a seat belt, if the driver did not stop at the request of a police officer, for speeding and crossing a full line.
