The first hiking itinerary starts from the surrounding villages like Kochkor and Chaek. Hiking can be lasted for several days and the final destination is Song-Kul lake surrounded by mountains without a single tree and poor connection. Once you reach the lake you can stay there in yurt camps walk around the lake meet real yaks and other animals. The second option is trekking around the lake for several days. Local people say you can not find such a beautiful sky full of million stars except in Song-Kul lake. This option is suitable for beginners as well as experienced ones.
The third popular hiking route in Kyrgyzstan is Sary-Chelek lake. From numerous high altitude alpine lakes to lush meadows covered with thousands of different flowers, beautiful 5000-6000 meter peaks, and big landscape contrasts, Sary-Chelek lake is a home to some of the most breathtaking scenery.
