Day 1: Bishkek - Lake Song Kul
Itinerary
Get picked up at Manas Airport, stop for breakfast, and then we’ll make our way to the stunning alpine lake, Song Kul. On the way to the lake, we’ll stop for a picnic lunch. The road to the lake is gorgeous and provides irresistible photo and video opportunities. Arrive at Lake Song Kul by evening. Upon arrival you'll have to opportunity to see a demonstration of Kyrgyzstan’s national equestrian games. Overnight accommodations at a yurt camp next to the water’s edge.

2
Day 2: Song Kul - Tash Rabat
Itinerary
After breakfast we’ll drive up the nearby mountains and stop at a spectacular area that affords a panoramic view of the whole lake. Then we’ll make our way to Tash Rabat. Tash Rabat is a historic Silk Road monument that was original founded by monks, but turned into a caravanserai for merchants and travelers during the heyday of the Silk Road. On our way to Tash Rabat we’ll stop for a picnic and drive over some mountain passes. Enjoy national cuisine for dinner. Overnight accommodations in yurts. Baths are available upon request.

3
Day 3: Tash Rabat – Lake Kel Suu
Itinerary
Drive to the remote mountain lake, Kel Suu.* Lake Kel Suu (3,400 m) sits in the Kokshaal Too Mountain Range in southeast Kyrgyzstan close to the Chinese border. The lake is completely encircled by sheer cliffs that are peppered with caves. There’s even a stone island in the middle of the lake. Boating and horseback riding are available at the lake. Eat dinner at the lake’s edge and spend the night in tents. *We have to cross a river to reach the lake. If the water levels are too high to pass via SUV, we’ll cross on horseback.

4
Day 4: Lake Kel-Suu - Naryn - Kichi Naryn
Itinerary
After breakfast we’ll stop by the Kichi Naryn Gorge then continue on to Naryn where we’ll stop for lunch. After lunch we’ll follow the Naryn River, drive over some small mountain passes, and reach some hot springs. We’ll arrive at the Kichi Naryn by evening, have dinner on the banks of the river, and spend the night in tents.

5
Day 5: Kichi Naryn - Karakol
Itinerary
Depending on weather conditions, we’ll either drive through the Karakol Tosor Pass or Bokonbaevo, stopping for a picnic lunch next to a mountain stream on the way. We’ll continue driving until we reach the “pearl of Kyrgyzstan,” Lake Issyk Kul. Soak in the magnificent scenery of the world’s second largest alpine lake and watch a falconry demonstration. We’ll arrive in Karakol towards evening, eat some dinner, and then settle into a hotel for the night.

6
Day 6: Karakol - Cholpon Ata
Itinerary
After breakfast we’ll drive through both the Grigorievka and Semenivka Gorges on our way to Cholpon Ata. Here we’ll be able to see three different gorgeous alpine lakes and stop for lunch. This area is also known for its rich, delicious honey that can easily be procured on the way. Once in Cholpon Ata we’ll stop by the area’s open air petroglyph museum then drive to a guest house where we’ll eat dinner and spend the night.

7
Day 7: Cholpon Ata - Bishkek
Itinerary
After breakfast we’ll make our way back to Bishkek. On the way back, fans of extreme sports can indulge in some river rafting if desired. For lunch we’ll stop in at a small café. Afterwards we’ll visit Burana tower (an ancient Silk Road monument) and check out the numerous stone sculptures around the tower. Continue on to Bishkek. Upon arrival in the city, check out a local bazaar and enjoy a farewell dinner. Overnight accommodations at a hotel.
