Day 1: Kordai border crossing - Bokonbaevo (290 km)
Itinerary
Pick-up at the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border crossing, Kordai, then stop for breakfast at a local café. After breakfast we'll drive to see the gorgeous sand canyons called The Eolian Castles. After visiting the canyons we'll break for a picnic, then continue on to Bakonbaevo where we’ll settle into a guest house. The rest of the day includes watching a demonstration of Kyrgyz carpet weaving (if desired, you can also make one of your own) and watching a falconry show. Archery is available upon request.

2
Day 2: Bokonbaevo - Karakol (120 km)
Itinerary
Transfer to Karakol after breakfast, stopping to visit the Jeti Oguz “Seven Bulls” Gorge and Broken Heart, a fascinating rock formation that’s a popular destination for couples because of the legend surrounding it. Here we’ll go on a horseback ride and a hike to a beautiful mountain waterfall. Stop and eat some national cuisine for lunch in a yurt. After arriving in Karakol we’ll visit the Przhevalsky Museum named for a famous Russian explorer and the Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church (1872). Overnight accommodations at a hotel.

3
Day 3: Karakol – Cholpon Ata – Bishkek – Kordai (480 km)
Itinerary
After breakfast, transfer to the Tash Suu hot springs, then enjoy a coffee break. Depending on weather conditions we’ll drive through the Semenov and Grigoriev Gorges, then go for a walk to enjoy the gorges’ pristine mountain scenery and alpine lakes. Afterwards we'll drive to Cholpon Ata where we’ll eat dinner, visit the Ruh Ordo cultural center that promotes the unity of 5 different religions, and visit an open air petroglyph museum. Next we'll drive to Burana Tower, a 10th century historical monument. Arrive in Bishkek for a farewell dinner, then drive to the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border crossing, Kordai.
