Day 1: Bishkek – Chon-Kemin (160 km, around 3-4 hours of driving)
Itinerary
Arrival in Bishkek (the old name is Frunze) early in the morning, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Transfer to hotel in city center. Rest of the morning is at leisure. Lunch in restaurant. Departure by road to Chon-Kemin gorge. Stop en route to see Burana tower (11th century). Here you can find the ruins of Balasagun, an ancient city of the Eastern Turks. From the top of the tower (25 m high) the 11th century minarets can be seen blending in a beautiful panoramic view of this region. Continue east and arriving to Chon-Kemin Valley. Enjoy a stroll in the local villages and experience a horse riding (optional) in Chon-Kemin gorge. Dinner and overnight at the Guest House.

2
Day 2: Chon-Kemin – Kochkor – Son-Kul Lake (250 km, around 5-6 hours of driving)
Itinerary
Breakfast at the Guest House. Transfer to Kochkor where you can visit felt carpet workshop. Here local women produce
traditional carpets and souvenirs. After lunch way goes up to the mountain lake Son-Kul. This place called also jailoo –
summer pasture where people are staying during summer with their herds. Dinner and overnight in yurt camp.

3
Day 3: Son-Kul Lake – Skazka Canyon - Issyk-Kul Lake (260 km, around 5-6 hours of driving)
Itinerary
After breakfast car transfer to the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. On the way possible to visit village where local people
produced yurt and see not only technic of producing but erection process as well. Optionally stop at Bokombaevo village where you can see eagle hunting performance. Hiking in Skazka Canyon. Arrival for dinner and overnight to the yurt camp located on the lake shore in a quiet place surrounded by wild nature.

4
Day 4: Issyk-Kul Lake – Karakol
Itinerary
After breakfast car transfer to Barskaun waterfall. Later visit to Jety-Oguz gorge stopping at Seven bulls, a remarkable red sandstone rock formation. Arrive in Karakol. Upon arrival visit an old Russian Orthodox church and a Mosque in Dungan style. Upon arrival dinner in local family and overnight in hotel.

Day 5: Karakol – Cholpon-Ata (140 km, around 2-3 hours of driving)
Itinerary
Continue by road to northern shore of Issyk-Kul lake, the second largest lake in the world on the altitude of 1607 m above sea level and bordered by the Tien Shan mountain range. The warm and clear water of lake makes it a popular holiday destination to Central Asian people who called it the Kyrgyz ‘sea’ and Pearl of the Tien Shan. On the way visit to open-air museum of petroglyphs also called as Garden of stones at Cholpon Ata. Optionally boat excursion on the Issyk-Kul Lake (depending on season). Lunch in Resort. After lunch time at leisure to relax and take in the beauty of the lake. Dinner and overnight at Raduga Resort.

Day 6: Cholpon-Ata – Bishkek (260 km, around 4-5 hours of driving)
Itinerary
Drive along northern shore to Bishkek. Lunch on the way. In the afternoon sightseeing in Bishkek. City tour takes you to Victory Square, Oak park with its open-air museum of Sculptures, History Museum (former Lenin Museum), Frunze Museum, the national theatre and Osh bazaar. Lunch during visits. Dinner in local restaurant and overnight in Bishkek. Optionally folklore performance during the dinner.
